Event Description

Open Voices Community Choir presents SWINGIN' THE BLUES at 2 pm and 7:30 pm with guest artist Anna Sudac and hot vibes musicians. Open Voices is a mixed voice adult choir under the artistic direction of Andy Rush. The music in this concert is sort of ‘The American Song Book’ (think Ella Fitzgerald) meets swing and blues standards from the 30’s, 40’ and 50’s . It’s all recognizable, fun and upbeat. Anna and the band are involved throughout, and the jazz musicianship of Paul Clifford, Stu Pike, Spencer Evans and Anna Sudak is formidable. You’ll be snappin’ along the whole time.
