Critically acclaimed recitalist and Steinway artist, Arthur Rowe, performs an all-Beethoven program. Works will include Beethoven’s Six Bagatelles Op. 126, Sonata in A Major, Op. 101 and Sonata in B-flat Major, Op. 106 (Hammerklavier), widely viewed as one of the greatest piano sonatas of all time and one of the most demanding solo works in the classical piano repertoire. A recitalist, soloist with orchestra and chamber musician, Rowe has been heard regularly on radio broadcasts in Canada and the United States, and has recorded with various artists for the Crystal, ebs, Innova, GM and Fanfare labels.
