Elevator Music and Promotions presents a Saturday night SKA party at Pat's Pub. On the bill are Caracas, S.K.A., Brehdren Caracas was Formed in 2011 by Venezuelan-Canadian brothers Javier and Victor Badillo. CARACAS mixes Latin grooves, fiercely original punk rock into a blistering high-energy live show. Influences include the Pixies, Gogol Bordello, Manu Chao and Santana...with a Venezuelan twist. S.K.A. are an energetic Vancouver based band playing original music and a few classic covers. They focus on the ska/reggae vibe mixed with rock blues and jazz elements. The band consists of Magic Mike on guitar and vocals as well as 2 tone Kyle on bass guitar. Big Gord handles the sax while Toby Misconception plays trumpet and sings.
