Event Description
The UVic Orchestra performs Le Carnival Romain Overture, Op. 9 by Berlioz, Gérard Grisey’s Modulations, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 in A Major, Op. 92. With Ajtony Csaba, conductor. The concert will be punctuated by multimedia interventions highlighting Learning Without Borders projects from various departments across campus. Theatre, song, visual art, and spoken word will shine a spotlight on the many ways members of the campus community are working to internationalize the curriculum and campus life and may change the way you experience the familiar. This concert is part of IdeaFest 2014 (http://www.uvic.ca/ideafest/), a UVic event celebrating research and creativity.
