Joey Only's newest work of recording magic is a simply brilliant 12 song dive into the joys and sorrows of his life on the road as a rebel folk singer. Transgression Trail is an authentic example of rockabilly meeting country and punk giving birth to a series of noble truths captured in song. Life and death are obstacles on this trail to the other side where mystery & madness exists in every stop along the Trans-Canada Highway. Songs like The Ghetto Birdz give reference to his political and punk underpinnings. Transgression Trail and Wicked Whisky - No Control highlight his own struggles with poor choices and terrible consequences.
