Event Description

Formed in Vancouver in 1996, Stabilo (originally known as Stabilo Boss) immediately set about crafting its sound. Drawing on rock, jazz and folk, the quartet began building a grassroots following while developing songs that appealed to mainstream and indie fans, along with jazz lovers and Deadheads. Selling over 5000 copies of its two self-released records, this ambitious and hardworking unit drew the attention of EMI, which released Cupid?, a seven-song calling card, in 2004.
