Rumbo a México” means “on the way to Mexico.’ The award-winning choir of Christ Church Cathedral is headed South, with upcoming performances in the historic colonial Mexican centres of San Miguel de Allende, Querétero, and Guanajuato. Rumbo a México is your chance to hear this CBC Champion choir’s tour repertoire in the historic surroundings of Vancouver’s recently renovated Christ Church Cathedral. Expect works by Mendelssohn, Sanders, Byrd and Bainton, plus glowing Gregorian chant, and works by Mexican, Spanish and Canadian composers.
