The Victoria Symphony Celebrates the 250th Birthday of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart With Six Concerts Sunday, May 14, 2:30pm Monday, May 15, 8pm Royal Theatre Tania Miller, conductor Monica Whicher, soprano Anita Krause, mezzo-soprano John Tessier, tenor Alain Coulombe, bass with Victoria Choral Society M. Haydn Symphony in G major Mozart Requiem, K. 626 Mozart Ave verum corpus, K. 618 One of Mozart's most beloved choral works, his Requiem will be performed with full choir and a roster of stunning guest soloists. The mysterious circumstances of the Requiem's commission, and the fact that it was left incomplete by a dying Mozart, have ensured a continuing fascination with its creation and its beauty for over two centuries.
