Sam Roberts hit the ground running with his 2002 debut EP The Inhuman Condition (certified gold in Canada). The EP spawned mega-hits "Don't Walk Away Eileen", "Brother Down" and "Where Have All the Good People Gone" - retro-inflected tracks that found a home both on modern and classic rock radio stations. His full-length album We Were Born In A Flame proved the young Montreal-based singer-songwriter was no fluke as it debuted at #2 in the Sound Scan charts and won Sam Junos for Album of the Year and Artist of the Year. Songs like "Hard Road," "Taj Mahal" and "Canadian Dream" helped spread the word, as did Sam's almost constant touring.
