Tuesday Night Jazz at the Church proudly presents the Kelby MacNayr SoulTet featuring Miguelito Valdes! The SoulTet is a working group of four of Victoria’s finest jazz musicians, dedicated to celebrating the soul, sass and style of 1960s and 70s soul and groove! Celebrating the music of legendary artists Cannonball Adderley, Joe Zawinul, Eddie Harris, Duke Pearson and More! Featuring the legendary Cuban trumpet virtuoso Miguelito Valdes - of Buena Vista Social Club and Afro-Cuban All-Stars fame - along with pianist Dr. Tony Genge, basis, Peter Dowse and drummer Kelby MacNayr, this band is a tour de force of contemporary soul and funk groove !
