Event Description
Hear School of Music students in UVic’s Baroque Collegium (BOMP) perform on period instruments including the harpsichord, viola de gamba, and Baroque cello. With the generous support of Early Music Vancouver, the Collegium is a part of BOMP (Baroque Orchestra Mentoring Programme). Students in the course receive coaching and mentorship from specialists in historically informed performance practices and instruments. ABOUT BOMP The UVic Collegium provides undergraduate and graduate students with an opportunity to approach aspects of historical repertory and performance practice in a practical setting.
