Event Description
Kick off the holiday season with A Bluegrass Christmas and Concerto with John Reischman and the Jaybirds. Featuring music from the award-winning group’s upcoming album as well as the West Coast debut of a recently commissioned Reischman concerto with special guest Patrick M'Gonigle. Reischman was one of three artists -- including Bela Fleck and Cynthia Sayer -- commissioned by the FreshGrass Festival Foundation to write a concerto to be played at the 2024 FreshGrass Festival in North Adams, Ma. in September. "This was quite an honour - both inspiring, and a little stressful, but ultimately very exciting.
