Event Description

Vox in the Stars is a truly unique musical event: audience and singers come together in the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory for a concert of evocative, celestially-inspired choral music performed under the stars, within the historic Plaskett Telescope dome. 

This year’s selection of music includes a world premiere by Victoria's Nick Fairbank, along with pieces by Stuart Beatch, Andrew Balfour, Kerry Andrew, and others, exploring themes of astronomy, science, and majesty of the heavens - music that is sure to move you to wonder and awe at our place in the cosmos.
