Victoria Folk Music Society weekly gathering; Everyone welcome jam 6:45pm, Open Stage 7:30pm, Feature Performers Lebeau-Peterson Duo at 9pm; Norway House, 1110 Hillside Avenue, $8 cash at the door Originally from Denmark, Niels Petersen has been a performing musician, producer, and song-writer since his move to Canada. He has shared the stage with such artists as Joan Armatrading, Tina Turner, Burton Cummings, Sir Cliff Richard, Trish Yearwood, and Paul Rogers, amongst others. A prolific composer, Niels has over 100 songs and compositions in his catalogue, and has written music for CBC Radio shows, television documentaries, and short films, including a New York Freddie Award-winning film documentary, and a Bravo Channel Network art exposé of noted Canadian artist Jeremie Giles. ... more...Event Image
