She Sings! will have the Dave Barton Trio as our special guest in a memorable evening of old and new jazz favourites. Dave Barton is a jazz guitarist, arranger, and composer who has been featured at the Prince Edward County Jazz Festival and whose works have been performed by the Toronto Jazz Orchestra, the Greg Runions Big Band, BrassWerks, and the Queen’s University Jazz Ensemble. Georgia on My Mind, Fly Me to the Moon, Stormy Weather, and a couple of Dave Barton jazz choral arrangements/compositions will open the show. The second half will take us into the upcoming holiday season and include I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm; Christmas Time Is Here; and Hodie Alleluia by Kingston composer Mark Sirett. You won’t want to miss this jazzy start to the holiday season!Event Poster
