Victoria Folk Music Society weekly gathering, Open Stage 7:30pm, Feature Performers Bijoux du Bayou at 9pm, 1110 Hillside Avenue, $8 cash at the door, Everyone welcome! Now going on 26 years old, Bijoux could credit their longevity to a strong initial mission of bringing Cajun, Zydeco, and New Orleans music to our area, but over the years that mission has expanded to include many more styles (TexMex · Canadiana · Latin · Reggae, etc.) which also honour the ‘good times’ of the band's origins. New instruments, new members, new songs all keep it interesting, fun, and uniquely memorable!
