Victoria Folk Music Society weekly gathering, Open Stage 7:30pm, Feature Performers The Carolina Bluebirds at 9pm, 1110 Hillside Avenue, $8 cash, Everyone welcome! The Carolina Bluebirds got their start playing cheerful Ragtime songs of the 1920s and '30s and introducing audiences to rarely-heard gems of the time. Since then, their repertoire has broadened to include Folk, Swing, and Jazz music written by many artists of the latter half of the century, as well as some of their own tasty original tunes. The Bluebirds are Caroline Covil (vocals and percussion), Graeme Card (guitar, vocals), and Ian Johnston (guitar, ukulele and banjo ukulele).
