Scott MacInnes, Artistic Director // Dr. Steven Capaldo, Guest Director Featuring Nicholas Atkinson performing Gregson's Tuba Concerto - you won't hear this music anywhere else in Victoria! Tuba player Nicholas Atkinson has enjoyed a professional career of over fifty-five years. He was Principal Tuba with the National Arts Centre Orchestra from 1976-2017, appearing several times as a featured soloist, and has performed with all of the major Canadian orchestras. In 1989 he filled the position of Principal Tuba with Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal. He was also a founding member of the Canadian National Brass Project.
