Event Description
on the ‘hat is a relatively new ensemble of musical friends (Marnie Setka-Mooney, soprano; Diane Berry, flute; Kathryn Le Gros piano) that have performed together for a number of gigs in the last few years. The name of the group recognizes that the Malahat is a connector for the members; Marnie lives in Lake Cowichan, Kathryn in the Westshore and Diane in the Mount Douglas area. This gig will feature their own arrangements of some jazz standards and favourites. WEAR YOUR PEARLS! Some of their earliest performances were concerts of contemporary classical music, particularly that of Leila Lustig, and Diane Berry.
