Event Description
Come to our print studio and explore your senses; the feel of paper, the smell of inks, the pull of the press – a world of colour, texture and mark making – the world of printmaking. Your experience in the print room will offer a chance to handle the rag papers, to feel the weight of a copper plate, and to handle some of the cutting and burnishing tools. Learn what a hand-pulled print means in the disciplines of etching, lino-cut, screenprint, and other techniques. The Open House is a group exhibition of studio members and will feature beautifully matted and framed original prints in a wide range of imagery, styles and techniques.
