The Pablo Cardenas Modern Trio brings their mix of jazzed up classical, Brazilian, Cuban, and jazz fusion music to the first concert in the West Coast Winter Music series. For several years, Pablo Cardenas has been working on the fusion of classical, Brazilian, Cuban, world music, jazz, and American popular styles, a blend of flavours that mix older melodies and sounds with the new tendencies of today's Jazz Fusion world. He will be accompanied by the amazing bass player Louis Rudner and drummer Kelby MacNayr. Pablo Luis Cardenas is one of the best Cuban pianists of his generation.
