Electro-Acoustic returns to the Sidney Waterfront Pavillion at the east end of Beacon Avenue!Sonic Jazz is a showcase exploring the use of electronics in the traditionally acoustic genre of jazz music.
This event will feature a trio of heavyweights from the Vancouver jazz and improvisational music scenes:
JP Carter - Trumpet / Electronics - of the band Destroyer
Kenton Loewen - Percussion - of Peregrine Falls, Winner of the 2018 Juno Award for best instrumental album.
James Meger - Bass - of Braveheart and SICK BOSS and the NOW Ensemble.
Victoria's Thelema Banana will open.
