Meridiem Wind Orchestra presents Legacy: Song & Dance Scott MacInnes, Art Director David Flello, Guest Conductor April 22, 2018 | 7:30PM First Met United Church 932 Balmoral Rd, Victoria Suggested donation: $15 Meridiem Wind Orchestra is a group of professional musicians, music teachers, and superb community musicians who volunteer their time to bring great wind band music to the Capital Regional District, creating a model for the next generation of musicians and concertgoers. Wind band has a long-standing tradition going back over 100 years, and Meridiem will be taking their audience through some of that history, with classic works like Holst’s ‘First Suite in Eb’, written in 1909, through to Robert Buckley’s much more current composition, ‘LOL’.
