Event Description
The Carlines new album 'Closer To You' out on April 7th. The Carlines are a guitar driven indie-rock band from Victoria, BC. The band’s upcoming album features Heart, a punching emotional anthem and When It’s Right, another soaring melodic indie-rock track. Heart was #46 on The Zone @ 91.3’s top 91 tracks of 2014, and they were also featured as The Zone’s Band of the Month. The album features front man Sjoerd Meyer and both his crisp and punchy guitar work and production skills; it was self-produced alongside David Parfait over almost a year and a half in Victoria, BC. The songs feel both modern and classic and the album’s 10 tracks contain a score of sweet spots.
