Friday May 4th at Lucky Bar, GCG reignites with the Victoria debut of The Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio (aka DLO3). With a deep soul backbone augmented by jazz, rhythm & blues and rock ’n’ roll, the Seattle trio — Lamarr on Hammond B-3 organ, Jimmy James on guitar and David McGraw on drums — evokes a classic instrumental sound with a fresh, virtuosic sensibility all its own on Their debut LP, Close But No Cigar, has already received rave reviews in addition to reaching #1 on Billboards Jazz albums (Feb 2018). Jazz, funk and soul fans alike will be blown away by the musicianship of three of Seattle’s finest.
