Maureen and Karel will be adding prohibition music to the theatre portion of the eveing... The scene is set in the 1920’s and you’re invited to hear and taste all about it. Prohibition has resulted in a “dry” Vancouver Island, like the rest of Canada and the United States, but not at Merridale! Let’s just say that we believe in hosting speakeasies and creating a little moonshine to keep our islanders happy. Like all good speakeasies, you will need the secret password to gain entrance to this night of entertainment. Greeted by the sultry Dame of Merridale at the farmhouse, you will find the room alive with jazz music.
