Event Description
For the fourth consecutive year, the Victoria Jazz Society will be hosting Jazz Festivals Canada’s annual networking and booking meetings in Victoria, British Columbia. These meetings will take place from October 16 through 20, 2017. Jazz festival artistic directors from across Canada (Victoria, BC to Halifax, Nova Scotia) will be meeting in order to develop national tours for both Canadian and international artists for the 2018 festival season. As part of these meetings, the VJS, on behalf of Jazz Festivals Canada, is facilitating a Showcase featuring musicians/bands from across Canada and the United States at Hermann’s Jazz Club on October 17 through 19, 2017.
