Event Description
Opening for the Tom Vickery Trio is a special community jazz combo class led by trombonist Nick La Riviere. This group meets weekly to explore the world of small group jazz performance, including improvisation, playing from lead sheets, and on stage communication. They’ll be starting at 7pm, so come on down early and support these musicians as they show off the jazz chops they’ve been polishing all summer!Join host/pianist Tom Vickery, bassist Sean Drabitt and drummer Kelby MacNayr for one of our favorite jazz nights!
The trio performs one set at 8pm - followed by two sets where musicians (from students to professionals) join on stage. Always different, and always great - the best chance to see high calibre performance at a great price!
