Event Description
The British Columbia Choral Federation (BCCF) hosts an annual gathering of choralists from across the province working with inspired leaders of the choral world. This year, Victoria welcomes ‘United in Song – Celebrating Canada’s 150th’ with a stellar cast of conductors and over 300 singers performing in four different choirs. BCCF Chorfest 2017 singers, under the direction of conductor Jon Washburn – artistic director of the Vancouver Chamber Choir, will perform Ralph Vaughan Williams’ beautiful Serenade to Music in the full choral/orchestral version, as well as works by Stephen Chatman and Ian McDougall.
