Event Description
A triple bill of eclectic Vancouver musicians will bring an urban take to traditional sounds, later in April.Headliners the Jeff Standfield Band featuring Dan Moxon (Bend Sinister) play life-affirming folk-tinged rock.
Also on the bill is Jim Meyer, a virtuoso with the Chapman stick – a 10-string beast of an instrument that combines the duties of bass and guitar, allowing Jim to play bass, melody lines, chords and textures. . . simultaneously!
And there’s the “dusty, trippy, bluesy, funky” sounds of Digger Dan & The Dirt Brigade featuring Kristina Shelden.
Catch them at Havana (1212 Commercial Drive, Vancouver) on Tuesday, April 18 from 7-10pm. Admission by donation.
