Trombonist Nick La Riviere has been called Victoria’s hardest working man in show business. This year his musical travels have taken him to Luxembourg, across Canada and the USA, and upcoming tours include Denmark and possibly the UK. Nick plays with local bands like The HiFi, Cities, The Southern Urge, The Yiddish Columbia State Orchestra, and Pretzel Logic, as well as out-of-town touring bands like The Paperboys and Locarno. On April 6th, Nick will be bringing his Septet to Hermann’s. The band features Brittany Iwanciwski and Ann Fraser on violins, Silvina Samuel-Lowden on cello, Chris Van Sickle on piano, Sean Drabitt on bass, and Damian Graham on drums.
