Event Description
Blanche Norton has been a friendly and familiar face in the Vancouver music scene for many decades. She has welcomed countless musicians and artists into her home and supported local and international acts for many, many years. Now, it is our turn to support her!! Over the last several years Blanche's health and mobility have deteriorated from the debilitating symptoms of MS. She recently had to vacate the small apartment she was in due to a bed bug and rat infestation. Unless someone came to carry her down the stairs Blanche was not able to leave her apartment. Blanche has been waiting for social housing for over 10 years but has never received any help. She was temporary emergency housing for a few weeks but is currently back home waiting to be placed in accessible housing. A ... more...Event Poster
