Event Description

“Nexus” links the intimate with the overview in this exhibition of multifaceted drawing-based book forms, albums and installations. These works are made with all kinds of paper, using etching inks, oil stick, graphite, etc., and range from miniature to mural size. The drawings are compiled, composed, bound, chained, boxed, and wall mounted, made into works meant to be hand held, bridging the worlds of visual image and physical object. Drawn from observation, photos and memory, the images are of people, places and things having a presence in the artist’s world.
