There are many festivals these days, but the organizers and volunteers involved in Velvet Rut Express Fest are dedicated to setting up an accessible and affordable one day festival that features multi-genre, original, and independent music by vibrant, relevant, and interesting musicians. Don't want to pay a fortune to see a bunch of top 40 bands at a giant festival where you are fenced into a compound and are not allowed outside food or drink? Velvet Rut Express Fest is the alternative.This by-donation event is host to two stages and features performers from all different genres and backgrounds.
