Victoria's multifaceted Starlight Pops, directed by Sue Doman, presents “C’mon, Get Happy!”, a celebration of classic feel-good tunes from some of popular music’s most beloved and enduring artists including ABBA, Katrina & The Waves, Simon & Garfunkel, Rod Stewart, Michael Bublé, The Beatles, Dirty Dancing, American Authors, and many others. Special guests for this concert are The Harmony Group, a mixed-voice quartet from Victoria, and the concert includes special presentations and solos including a solo by Doman herself. “Nowadays folks have lots of reasons to feel down and depressed,” says Doman, “but this concert gives us a chance to lift people’s spirits and put a smile on their faces.
