Spring has sprung and that means it’s that time of year again – the Big Band Big Bang! This event will feature the two big bands of the AROKIS Music Society, Impressions and Urbana, along with special guest vocalist Peter Juric. Both bands will feature some new material, along with established favourites. This event is also a fundraiser for the AROKIS Music Society, helping us to continue our mission of preserving and promoting live Big Band music in the Lower Mainland. Peter is a dynamic soulful singer with a gift for making some of the greatest songs of all time entirely his own. A superb “front man” and trumpet player, he knows how to bring a party to life and is especially good at connecting with his audiences.
