Event Description
This lively community outdoor event will include Artisan and Craft Vendors, records (new and used vinyl), live music; Acab Rocky, Cleopatra + The Nile, David P. Smith, mural painting,food trucks, beer garden, taro card reading, portrait drawing, collage making, a magic show and more. In conjunction with the Art Fare and Carnivale will be the opening reception for an art exhibition in the Slide Room Gallery curated by Laura Gildner: "Consumed". An exhibit examining contemporary intersections and interrelationships between consumption and popular culture featuring painting, photography, sculpture and video art by artists from Ottawa, Montreal, San Francisco, Vancouver and Victoria.
