Paintings by Sheryl Fisher and Joanne Thomson. Art that starts conversations we don't usually have about situations we usually keep hidden. Joanne Thomson courageously depicts uncomfortable subjects such as depression, addiction, death, bullying, and ecstasy in her beautiful fresh ‘Bottled’ paintings. Sheryl Fisher's mimes remind us that body language and facial expressions reveal inner feelings and that much communication happens without speaking. Together they tackle sensitive topics, sometimes with humour and always with compassion. The artists invite you to find something that reflects your own silence while viewing these works.
