Event Description
BIO: With a soul much older than his age, Johnny Regimbal is a rare example of classic preservation. His music is deep routed in early blues, country, rock and blue grass featuring a gritty soulful voice riding on skillfully played guitar parts. Coming from a family of musician’s Johnny found is calling early in life and never looked back, learning a wide variety of instruments from his father. He finds influence from past greats like; Muddy Waters, Rory Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix, Earl Hooker and Levon Helm. Johnny is also a front-man in Victoria BC based rock group “Deep Sea Gypsies” Established in 2010 the group has become prevalent on the western Canadian music scene and plays an original innovative combination of 60’s psych blues rock, 70’s southern rock and hip hop.
