Good Noise Vancouver Gospel Choir get their soulful groove on with Hallelujah Praise: Motown Meets Gospel – Sunday, March 1, 2015, 3:30pm at Ryerson United Church (2195 W. 45th Avenue). The annual concert – an audience favorite – promises to raise spirits with upwards of 140 glorious voices singing works that combine smooth R&B rhythms of the Motown tradition with stirring gospel selections. This is a timely performance, falling closely behind Canada’s Black History Month, and will feature songs by acclaimed artists who brilliantly merge the two influential and celebrated genres.
