Event Description
Early Music Vancouver presents G.F. Handel’s Theodora on Saturday, February 14 at 7:30pm at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at UBC (6265 Crescent Road). Theodora is a beautifully tragic work and not only one of Handel’s largest-scale oratorios, but also one of his personal favourites. This superb production features 28 members of the Pacific Baroque Orchestra, 40 members of the Vancouver Cantata Singers, and five internationally acclaimed soloists, all under the direction of luminary conductor, Alexander Weimann.Tickets from $16 at tickets.ubc.ca
