Roy Forbes makes his first appearance at the Rogue Folk Club on January 24, 2015, showcasing his long-promised new album “Strikin’ Matches LIVE”, recorded at several of Roy's solo shows between 2011 and 2013. Superb guitar-vocal renderings of material originally presented on “Crazy Old Moon”, “The Human Kind”, and the UHF discs, are seasoned with an essential live take of Love Turns To Ice, as well as About My Broken Heart, first presented on the acclaimed “Some Tunes For That Mother of Mine” in 2006.
