Event Description
John Reischman and the Jaybirds are landing in Vancouver on December 5 with a new EP tucked under their wings, entitled On a Winter’s Night. What better way to usher in winter than a new EP, celebrating Winter and the Festive season - please note you will not here a jingle bell on this new recording - rather, this is a collection of eight wintery traditional tunes. The EP was largely inspired by an album of seasonal folk songs released by the Seeger family - Mike, Peggy and Penny - in 1992, and features some pared down combinations of instruments as well as the full strength Jaybirds sound. John assures us you’ll enjoy this album as much with a mojito next summer, as you will with your egg nog this December.
