Event Description
This lively all-female group of folk musicians bring catchy original songs to life, with guitar, upright bass, percussion, mandolin, and soaring harmonies. http://www.wildsundays.ca/ Genevieve Charbonneau, vocals guitar Kelly Sherwin, bass, vocals Laura Carleton, percussion, vocals Chandra Crowe, mandolin, vocals Many moons ago, 14 year old angsty teen-agers Genevieve and Chandra, headed out to their first guitar lesson. In Gen's co-op basement bedroom, they strummed bluesy original songs, and whined about boys and their parents. Fast-forward 24 years.... Though Gen dabbled in fiddle and singing over the years, she didn't really start to write music until she moved to Cowichan to homestead with her family. But once she got going, she couldn't stop!
