SHOWTIME @ 10PM COVER $8 A Little Diddy About The Bands: SKYSCRAPER http://www.skyscrapermusic.com/ The term ‘skyscraper’ was first used in 1794 as a nautical term to describe a triangular skysail of a ship. Later, in 1826, a high-standing horse was called a skyscraper. The present meaning of a tall building was first recorded in 1880. Sometime later, Skyscraper was formed to fill the void left by the loss of bacon, overstar, and moonshine cowboys.
