Event Description
This is a gala fundraiser for Team Beat It in the 2014 Ride to Conquer Cancer. Galaxie Rising Star Award nominee, Andrea Superstein ( www.andreasuperstein.com ) entertains with her impressive vocals while the 17 piece South Van Big Band ices the cake. The SVBB features arrangements of Basie, Beatles, Metheny, Steely Dan, Gillespie, and other artists. Genres in Swing, Blues, BeBop, Latin Jazz, Funk, R&B and contemporary styles. Directed by Alex Viel. Enjoy the evening in a comfortable cabaret setting in the Main Lounge while being catered by the Wilson Centre featuring a hot and cold appetizer buffet. The Room is licensed for wine and beer plus softdrinks and coffee are available. Door prizes, 50/50 draw, Raffle prizes donated from local businesses will abound. Come and enjo... more...Venue
