Canada's legendary Downchild Blues Band are celebrating their 35th Anniversary Tour with a not to be missed performance at the Port Theatre (125 Front St.) with very special guest David Gogo on Sunday, October 10th at 7:30 Pm. With such memorable hits as "Flip, Flop and Fly", "I Have Everything I Need (Almost)", "Trying to Keep Her 88's Straight" and "Shotgun Blues", the Downchild Blues Band have successfully kept the dance floor full while entertaining fans around the world. The band is led by founding member Donnie "Mr. Downchild" Walsh, who started the band in 1969 at the now infamous Toronto watering hole, Grossman's Tavern, with his since passed brother, Richard "Hock" Walsh.
