Friday, July 13, 2012 Victoria BC Ska Society proudly presents THE PIETASTERS from Washington D.C with special guests LARRY & HIS FLASK, Vancouver's own LOS FURIOS and Victoria's own STEP BACK DAVE! THE PIETASTERS' slogan NEVER SOULED OUT is nice tongue and cheek but rings true. The Pietasters have stayed true to the spirit of ska music keeping a full 8 piece band alive through good and bad times in the world of ska music. The Pietasters' first break came early when they landed a 1992 tour opening for Bad Manners. In 1997, Rancid’s Tim Armstrong signed them to Hellcat/Epitaph where they recorded two albums with producer Brett Gurewitz (Bad Religion): Willis and Awesome Mix Tape #6.
