The Mahones are back with The Black Irish, a brand new album filled with Celtic punk anthems that pack the punk punch their global horde of fans have come to expect, and beg to be played on the loudspeaker at any pub, party or sports arena to get crowds on their feet and revved up for a big night. Formed in 1990 by Dublin born Singer/Guitarist and Songwriter Finny McConnell, The Mahones feature Dom "The Bomb” Whelan (Drums/Vocals), Katie McConnell (Accordion/Vocals), Sean Winter (Banjo/ Mandolin/Harmonica), Sean “Riot” Ryan (Bass/Vocals) and have maintained their steadfast drive for the past 20 years which has propelled them to immerge as the seminal Irish punk band of the past two decades.
