Musaic presents ‘Vocal Connections’, bringing together Synergy, the high energy a cappella male vocal ensemble from the Vancouver Men’s Chorus with Her Sweet Time, Victoria’s own acoustic folk women’s ensemble. Benefit concert also includes a guest appearance by Melaney Black, co-conductor of Musaic. Synergy, is a 12 voice ensemble of the renowned Vancouver Men's Chorus, formed in 1998 by pianist, composer and conductor Stephen Smith. In the five years since its formation, the group has earned a reputation for great performances of everything from madrigals to Motown, in over a dozen different languages.
